As much as we would love for everyone to have their Volkswagens on display, we were only provided a specific location on the Wharf to hold the event. We have 200 Volkswagens registered for the show. This is the maximum amount of vehicles the city has allowed us to display. We are opening up a waiting list and if space becomes available, we will reach out to you as you move up the list.

This is a vintage Volkswagen car show that will take place on the
Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf

Only 215 spaces will be available and pre-registration will be opening
April 1st, at 9am
Open to all air-cooled Volkswagens
Please plan to arrive between 8am-9:30am on Saturday morning to get your VW parked. We would like to have all vehicles parked before the event start time of 10am.
If you want to park with your friends or your car club, please plan to meet up together before arriving at the wharf.
There is plenty of local restaurants for nearby dining, walking distance to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the historical West Cliff Dr., and Downtown Santa Cruz.
We will have trophies for different car classes, more info to come!
Registration is $35
for your Volkswagen and everyone in it.
If you plan to stay in the Santa Cruz Boardwalk/Wharf area after the show ends at 3pm. You don’t have to move your vehicle. The $35 will cover your “day use” parked on the wharf until the wharf closes. Be sure to grab your car before the wharf closes. Check with the wharf operator to determine what time the wharf will be closing.

We are a Northern California non-profit and we are Volkswagen car enthausiasts. We are planning a car show event with vintage air cooled Volkswagens parked on the Santa Cruz Wharf for the community to come and enjoy. This event will help raise money and food for local charities within the Santa Cruz county area.
Nothing goes better with “Santa Cruz” than some vintage Volkswagens.
We are working with the city of Santa Cruz to allow us to host this air-cooled Volkswagen car show event on the Santa Cruz wharf. This would be a one day event on a Saturday in October. This is our first year trying to create an event like this, and our goal is to turn it into an annual event held in the summer months of June or July. This year we will hold the event in October to allow us time for planning and also to help raising funding.
We are still working out all the details of the event with the city. We need to raise $6000 to host the event for the day at the wharf. We will be charging the car owner participants an entrance fee, which will raise money and we will be able to give back to local charities. Participants will also be able to bring in canned food for a discount on the entrance fee, which will go to the “Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County”
We would like to have the event open to the public for everyone to come spend the day in the Santa Cruz area and check out some beautiful vintage Volkswagen cars.
Air cooled Volkswagens have a personality and a style all their own. Each one is unique and different and they always put a smile on everyone’s faces around them and bring up some amazing memories for many individuals.
